Winter Activities
Enjoy all the fun winter has to offer! Snowmobiling, Skiing, X-Country Skiing and Ice Skating are all accessible nearby. The Eastgate is convenient to some popular major snowmobile trails with plenty of parking.
During the Winter season, we offer discount ski tickets to both Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods, as well as our ski and stay winter packages. The Eastgate is located only 12 minutes from Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch and 20 minutes to Bretton Woods Ski Area. We’re near it all!
Cannon Mountain
Cannon Mountain Tramway NEW! Tuckerbrook beginner area.

Lisbon Village Country Club
The Lisbon Village Country Club is an historic golf course located in the White Mountains of Lisbon New Hampshire. LVCC golf course was constructed in 1928 by renowned golf architect, Ralph Barton. Characteristic of this era, you will experience undulating greens, scenic elevated tees and tricky approach shots. Our nine hole golf format provides an alternative set of tees for a different experience the second time around.
Waumbek Golf Club
The historic Waumbek Golf Club offers the most picturesque views of any golf course in New England. New Hampshire’s oldest 18-hole golf course (built in 1895!) offers breathtaking views of the Presidential Range on every hole.

The Maplewood
The Maplewood was established in the late 1800’s as a resort hotel for New Englanders. In 1914 a Donald Ross designed golf course was added to improve the resorts offerings and provide the hotel guests with the best golf course possible.
